I swapped out the Dr. Thermal Ti-V77 for an SK-6 w/ the Senfu screamer fan ( not a Delta but 7000rpm ) and I gassed the Vcore up to 1.94V. CPU still locked at 11.5 multi w/ FSB @ 152 gives me 1.745 GHz. I looped 3Dmark2k1 for the 3.5 hours I was at school and it was still runnin' when I got home. :) Sandra 2002 #'s are as follows.......

( Kingmax only runs at "normal" @ 152, as opposed to "fast" @ 148 )

Maybe I need to gas the mem voltage adj !! ::

Anyway, things are lookin' up here. :)

Have since backed it down to 1733 ( XP2100+ speed !! haha ) since I only need 1.9v there and 1.96v at 1745. Still plenty fast and runs cooler. :)

With the Iwill XP333R, you have options up to 1.85v and then there's also a "+10%" option on top of that. That's only on the 2.1 revision tho. Currently I have it at 1.8v +10% which gives me 1.9v on ALi Hdware monitor.

1.825 +10%=1.96v
1.850 +10%=2.03v

That's the main reason I took a shot with this mobo as it gives you some OCing headroom in addition to having ata133 that actually works.

The Shuttle AK35GTR (VIA) has voltage adj up to 2.3v ( ) but unless you run your HDDs off the o/b Hpt372 RAID controller, which is ata133 compatiable, it's still basically an ata100 mainboard.

I wonderd about those Lifesavers!

I bought from tcwo.com twice, got lifesavers both times too.

First package was a 1700xp, fan, and Biostar board. Second time was a 60gig maxtor 7200rpm, and a 16x DVD drive.

Was planning to buy something else soon too and see if I got more of them. Nice touch, kid likes them.
Maybe I'll get her interested in building systems that way. She can't have the candy unless she uses the parts :)

Maybe that would work?
