XP 1800+ installed, *beware, big pics*

Post by NascarFool »

It arrived today from Directron.com , I ordered it late Sunday- early Monday. Four days delivery time, that's not too bad. This thing runs much cooler than the 1.33GHz I had. About 9ºC cooler. I ran a benchmark on the 1.33@1.50 before I replaced it with the 1800+. Then I benched the 1800+ at 11.5x133 and 11.5x142. The 1800+ seems to have a little more snap than the 1.33GHz.

Under load with a CPC 30370 Pin Fin Heatsink w/38CFM Delta , 44ºC. The 1.33@1.50 would run 50ºC+ with the same cooling. The 1800 runs around 37ºC no load.
