Don't know if you have an android phone, but if you do, totally check out the RemoteDroid app. I doubt you really need more RAM. 2gb is plenty for a HTPC.

ok here's the latest iteration and hopefully the last for a while:

CASE: NZXT M59
MOBO: MSI 785GT-E63
CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto 3.2GHz (Unlocked this to 4 Cores)
RAM: 4GB DDR2 Kingston HyperX
Optical: IDE OEM HP DVD / CDRW
PSU: OCZ StealthXstream II OCZ600SXS2
HD: Kingston SSD 64GB (boot)
HD2: WD 2TB SATA II Other media (Music, DivX, HD Video)
HD3: WD 1TB SATA II DVD RIPS
HD4: WD 1TB SATA II DVD RIPS
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD5450 Fan-less (Cedar) 512MB 64-bit DDR2 (DVI/HDMI/DSUB)
OS: Windows 7 32 Bit w/ XBMC

This thing runs super stable and I definitely think its better with exception to the boot drive in my main rig in my sig. I haven't tried to overclock or unlock the cores so I will tonight before positioning this rig in its resting place besides my HDTV / Home Theater.

That should definitely be plenty enough to do the trick.
