WoW Classic review-in-progress – a smooth return to 2006

I always enjoyed the classic version.

It's a nostalgic retro look back. Mob tagging, slow spawns, confusing talents. it's all there. I'll probably poke in there for a couple weeks until BL3 comes out, and then forget about it.

Never played myself, but I have a number of friends who did and got into the "classic" version and say it's awesome all over again.

I am playing with some guildies and it is definitely a nostalgic flashback. That said, there are ton of quality of life changes that came about because it was really needed, so I dont expect to play it for long. But for now we are having fun remembering starting up and all that. I joined my current guild about 6 months into playing the game in early 2005, and theres still 4 of us from the original group playing together.
