I own it but was going to play some this weekend because they just added a new map.

Well they have improved a few things since I last played maybe 8 months ago.
I loved the old original DOD, but they eliminated the German semi-automatic rifle so now there's no real comparable German weapon to the American M1 Garand, so my main issue with DoD Source is I hate playing as a German.

You can buy it for $5 until Thursday from Steam. I played it for a few hours and I've decided you can't go wrong for that price.

Naw, for that price it's a steal.
It's a great game, I just wish they'd left the German semi-auto rifle in it.
Nuby, are you on my Steam friends list? Don't remember.

Say what you will about Valve, one thing they DO seem to do well is keep cheaters under control.
Except for out private Wednesday and Sunday games, I find COD4 almost unplayable on most public servers because there's so many hackers out there. Punkbuster just doesn't work anymore.
I rarely see anyone overtly cheating on a DOD Source or TF2 server, and Valve is constantly trying to improve gameplay.
