Just finished Quake4

Post by Executioner »

Took me 15 tries, but I finally beat it and finished the game. They left it open for another. This game sucked me in slowly, and I was really hooked on it about half way through. I was really impressed with the detail and the graphics. For those of you that gave up due to the beginning of the game, continue it and it does get a whole lot better.

Just played it a few levels and at first it looked like Aliens / Starship Troopers, drop ships and all. Still feels like you play as an Aliens "Hicks" type grunt. Add in only aliens and it'd be Aliens. So far anyway. das a good thing :)

Been through some dark places but Q4 gets it right by having a light on the gun. The enemies move almost too quickly for you to get a good look at them. I may be gamed out though. Reckon I'll find out. Nothing as yet has been as fun as when I played the original Quake.

I've noticed some actors voices in the game so far. Samuel L Jackson and 2 others I known of but can't remember their names. On was the russkie in Armageddon and the other was the one who betrayed rambo in rambo 2.

started playing it yesterday, love it so far, beat FEAR the day before and agree with some posters from this forum, Q4 seems to be better. Just finished the tank part, wondering what's in store later on. Which map had the dude with Russki voiceover?
