What to Buy?

Post by eGoCeNTRoNiX »

XBOX or PS2? I'm seriously debating on getting one of these for several reasons, unless I discover that they make the major reason for GC.. The g/f and I are enjoying playing DDR (on dreamcast) and we're not brave (nor rich) enough to go to the Arcade and play. So we want to get a game system that we can buy the dance pad for and play at home. Yah, stupid I know, but it's fun "exercise".

***EDIT*** Looky what I just found.. he he... Looks like I may be ordering this instead..

***EDIT***

I'm a dumbass and posted this in the wrong section.. Should be in Video Games.. If it can be moved, somemod please do so, if not.. No worries.. :)

bah, just buy the pad and run it off the PC with stepmania

been playing mix4 a lot lately

as for the consoles....
for the longest time I have loved my PS2, but I dont play it that much. But now...I am thinking of buying a xbox just cause of the cool stuff I have seen it do.

besides, i need an xbox to complete my collection of gaming consoles in the house. It would look lovely next to my ps2 and gamecube
Gone for good. But never say never

me and Dan did the whole PS2 mod for the PC. he bought 2 PS2 pads, then bought 2 extension cables (for the female ends) and we wired it to the parrelell port and it works great! can have 2 players at once.

I voted Xbox but I love my NGC too.I use my Xbox for games but I also use it to stream media from my PC into my bedroom and to play all my NES/Snes roms.NGC is just a great choice if you like the type of games that are out for it.Beware though Animal Crossing is highly addictive.
