Everytime I try at any reso at 32 bit the game crashes. Tried reinstalling the game and that didn't help. Using a radeon so it does suport it and the game has options going up to 1600x1200 at 32 bit. I couldn't find any new patch for the game.

Any ideas? thanks

I play it all the time at 1280x1024 32 with my 64meg Radeon VIVO & it works super.

I didn't do anything special to get it to work except change the Z-Buffer bit depths in D3D to 16;24;32.

Well duh, mine was set at 16;24 and didn't have 32 showing till now. I didn't even think of that. That was it and I just tried it briefly and it certainly looked far better.
thanks JohnM :)

NFS 3 was my last time playing the series, in my opinion there just wasnt enough to keep me goin thre 4 or 5. 1&3 are my favorite!

Did you try 5? 1,3 and 5 are the best to me. 2 and 4 suked. 5 might be the best, but it is only after you open up all the cars and tracks. For some lame ass reason they locked out most of the cars and tracks till you play through it. But with a crack most are unlocked. Then it becomes the best of the series, to me anyway.

I agree, I loved NFSIII until PU came out. With all the cars & tracks unlocked this game is awesome!!

I don't have any other version installed anymore.

I never enjoyed a racing game as I did nfs3, next is nfs1, and only after that nfs5. Maybe because I lost interest in racing games?
