Good games don't really need splatter, gore and lotsa blood. You should see the german versions, those are really censored for violence.
- SoF2 = enemies are cyborgs
- Half Life = human enemies are robots
- Nolf2 = dead enemies don't leave a body, they only leave a rucksack on the ground
- Mafia = no blood (but I have to say the game is so good I didn't really realize it while playing)
Those are just a few that I remember. Extensive blood and violence brings games on the black list of censored games. You can't advertise for those games any longer, they can't be on display in stores, there can't be any reviews of them.
You want gore and blood? I guess Soldier of Fortune is your game.

yes

SoF 1 and 2 (2 as in the origional release of the game) are by far, the bloodest and goreiest games ever

but if you like some good fast paced action, i would say ut2k3 cause of the blood splatters when you play that mod with one shot explosive kills :p
