It is a big D/L, about 120 Megs. Has the feel of the RPG, but the pace in turn based mode is a little on the slow side. Have not tried the other mode yet.

I'm majorly disappointed by it. I really loved Fallouts 1 & 2, but this is not like those (no RPG elements to it). It's all tactical combat, and like you said, the turn-based takes waaaay too long and it gets boring fast. The real-time is too fast and you can't propery control 6 guys in that mode so they get killed.

I wanted to finish the demo, but I was forcing myself, which means I wasn't having fun. I may go back it later but I don't think I'll be getting this game...

The only RPG element is the cha development. It is very simmilar to JA/JA2, but it is slower. I agree, I felt like I was forcing myself to play the game...I think I wll pass on this one as well.

It suppose to be a different game

Fallout: Tactics is "suppose" to be a different game.
If it was the similar to previous, they would call it
Fallout 3. ;)

Previous gamers of Fallout 1 & 2 might not like it,
as expected. The best way to describe it is "ja2
wannabe"..which is "good ole xcom style".

If you like turn base, tactical combat, this is it.
Much like chess..hehe.
