Ghost Recon Rocks!

Post by Tobad »

Down with Counter Strike! Viva Ghost Recon! :D

If you are in to real combat sim stuff...this game is for you. Just got it last night (played the demo many times before) and I love it. Eye candy galore...the trees actually have leafs that move...Oh yea, you can see grass as well. :D

Game play is kick ass, makes you feel like you are there. I think it's well worth the $49 price. Just my 2 cents in...

Just bought it today but I'm out of town so I can't play until I get back home Monday night.

So what's multiplayer like? Is it as smooth as CS?

The friggin screenshots look incredible.

FYI,

Circuit City has it advertised for $27.99.

I think I will pick it up for that.

Yeap GR kicks major ass ! ! !

So far we tested co-op missions on our server and it is so much fun. Even dedicated server on cable/128 upload still plays ok with 8 guys. Multiplayer seems better than CS the game is much smooter and I think runs better than any HL mod. FA+CS+Rainbow six = Ghost Recon

Damn, I can't even try multi right now. I have the 'sample' version right now. I just may have to go and get this one though. Damn sweet game.

true... being able to see your weapon would complete the total "feel" of the game. wonder why they didn't make it an option to turn it off or on???

Anyone figured out if there is a way for radio commands? I know it has the binds area, I wouldn't mind having some actual voice binds. There is always Roger Wilco....

Yeah, I thought that not seeing the weapons is odd as well, kinda takes the "realism" out of it... oh well...

Crouching is a little akward too - I prefer the way DOD handles it better.

The trees and grass are darn nice.

Haven't had time to play much - online play at UBI.com seemed awkward as sin. I couldn't figure out how the heck to get into a game.

Anyone know if Gamespy supports it yet? If I have to use that worthless ubi crap it's not going to get much play time.
