I played the wifi beta for a bit just now and the controls seemed kind of choppy/unresponsive. I doubt this service will be able to make games run as well as a gaming PC.

I think it's a good idea for those who want to game on their non-gaming PCs. Like netbooks or low end laptops. I'd just as well have a dedicated machine myself though. This may well be the future though.
