Mission accomplished!

Post by FlyingPenguin »

I went by the polling station Monday and put one of my spare "Any Functioning Adult" signs in front, along with all the other political signs. I half expected someone to remove it, but when I went to vote on Wednesday it was still there.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! :)

I guess Betsy believes that 2 signs in the same spot will double her chances?

Funny thing is the next day someone put a Trump sign in front of the Biden sign (there are more signs on the left side of the street BTW), and then someone put the Trump sign behind the Biden sign, but mine was still visible.

Taking a friend to vote today, so will see if it's still there.

Dude. This is near The Villages, where seniors cover their golf carts in campaign signs, and get into fist fights over it.

Took my bookkeeper to vote today. She's on oxygen and needed some help. Line was surprisingly short. We got in and out in 20 minutes. Poll workers said it was the least busy day, by far, this week.

I wonder how much of that had to do with the fact that Trump was in town, just 10 miles away at the polo fields, for a 4:30 rally? The people at the poll today were a younger crowd - just a few seniors - and the crowd felt distinctly pro-Biden.

No biggie. I am glad the orange one is preaching to people who are going to vote for him anyway, and if it keeps the line shorter at the polls today, that's a win.

Oh, and yeah, my sign is still there. Isn't it more humorous next to a Trump sign? Someone moved the Biden sign. My sign has not been moved at all, and I didn't put the Trump sign there.

Heh, if I'd spotted this earlier, I would of bought one for my lawn. Maybe next year.
