I voted early, last week. It took about 10 minutes.

~2 minutes. It took that long for the official to find my name in the precinct book. That's about how long it took me to actually vote too. There wasn't much going on the Scioto County Ohio. I have a new rule this year. Anyone running unopposed doesn't get my vote.

No line for me, I picked the paper ballots. The computers on the other hand were all full up.

Early voting last week. 10 minutes tops. Very well organized.
To shock some of you, I voted for Romney after much consideration.
I do not believe either of these men intend us harm, and I think the economy is going to recover at it's own pace irregardless of who is elected. As a small business owner, and someone who is now involved with a small business manufacturer, I feel Romney is going to be more friendly towards small businesses and manufacturers in general, and I think we need that for the next 4 years.
While I voted for Obama in 2008, and I am not greatly upset with him, I am disappointed. I consider him a chair warmer. He's done nothing of substance (as far as I - an independent am concerned). Even the health care plan which I generally support was not his plan - he just co-opted it.
Meanwhile 75% of the Bush policies I am upset about are still in effect under Obama (government collusion with anti-piracy extremist organizations, meddling with the Internet, warrantless wiretaps, an abandonment of science, an abandonment of the principles of personal privacy, etc).
Honestly I can live with either one of these two guys. I don't buy into the doom and gloom rhetoric from extremists on both sides.
What I am REALLY disgusted about is our congress which has done NOTHING for 4 years but play politics and the blame game (both sides).
If we don't see some actual bi-partisan cooperation in this congress, we should vote ALL the bums out next go around.

I voted for big ears but this time it was more like cheering against the Dallas Cowboys. I was very disappointed by his first term. I had been hoping he would use the super majority to ram through a comprehensive national health plan and assume he would be a 1 termer. Kinda like LBJ and the Civil Rights Act. IMHO they are both owned by wall st and the banks. Has Corzine figured out what happened to that couple of $BB of client funds he "lost" yet.
With Obama my underemployed kids can stay on my health insurance for a few more years which is a good thing. When I retired I took early social security just in case they started playing with it. Pretty much the same with my state pension.

well, i went to vote directly after my dentist appmt, which just happened to be around noon, ~ so i had a 20-min. wait outside, and a 10-min. wait inside.
