 The nuclear material they talk about has been common knowledge forever. I believe the UN had the task of guarding the material to prevent theft and use for ill will but then the US kicked them out and left the stuff unguarded. Months later we're finally getting rid of it.

None of it points neferious action on the part of Iraq. I am sure we intended to remove it as soon as we found it anyway. Will we also ship Iraqis with cancer to the U.S. for treatment now that we have taken their medical isotopes away?

lol, that was kinda mean.

I am glad that we went over there. I guess I am just a bleeding heart when it comes to helping people out. However, that does not shake my conviction that there should be swift and total retalation when our toes get stepped on(aka, soldiers dying preventible deaths).

You'll notice that nowhere in the fox article does anyone imply this material was intended for use in WMD or even weapons of any kind... it's removal is important to avoid 'wrong hands' situations, but it wasn't 'secret' and therefore it hasn't been 'discovered'. It's a responsible action taken by those in a position to move this material out of harm's way and is definately good news!
