David was in his 7th grade class when the teacher asked the children
what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up
firefighter, police officer, sales rep, doctor, lawyer, etc.

David was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked
him about his father. My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret
and takes off his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes, if the
offer's really good, he'll go out to the alley with some guy and make
love with him for money.

Shaken by this statement, the teacher hurriedly set the other children
to work on some exercises and took David aside to ask him, Is that
really true about your father? No, said David, He works for the
Kerry for President campaign, and I was too embarrassed to say that in
front of the other kids.

If people want gun control so

:ping bad move to the UK. Then just worry about getting your ass stabbed. The day they try to take our guns away is the day this country will see their 2nd civil war. But it won't be the north vs the south. It will be the people vs the governement. And i feel sorry for anyone in a goverment agency trying to enforce that law.

It'll never happen here in the USA. Too many have guns. In NC, many towns have gun shows every weekend and they are packed. Many, like my brother, have enough to arm a small country.

On a related note. Last friday night around 2am, I heard a pop. Sounded like a firecracker, or a small gun. Then I heard talking, people arguing, cursing. Shocked the hell outa me. See, this area is mostly senior citizens and all white. But, looking out I saw several blacks arguing, running up and down the street what looked like chasing another, a few cars coming and going 2 houses up. This is a side street which leads to a dead end.

Then I saw some next to my fence, arguing, cursing and threatening. Once I saw a male try to hit a female, I called 911. Then got out my .38. Almost went outside, but watched. Couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing.

I kept watching, about 7 minutes later 3 police cars showed up blocking the road. At first they had spotlights on, and chased down at least 2 who ran. Then I guess they had them in their cars, and turned their blue flashing lights on. Stayed for about 15 minutes and left. That's all I ever heard about it. The one house was being rented out.
