Interesting email

Post by nitro237 »

I received this , thought it was pretty interesting :

Subject: Church and State

You Know, I don't usually say to much about politics, one way, or the
other, but this thing about "the ten commandments" and the words "under
God", has gotten me a little up-tight.

The law is the law. So if the US government determines that it is against
the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, so be it; And if
that same government decides that the "ten commandments" are not to be used
in or on a government installation, so be it; And since they already have
prohibited any prayer in the schools, of which they deem their authority,
then so be it; I say, so be it, because I would like to be a law abiding
U.S. citizen, I say, so be it, because I would like to think that smarter
people than I are in positions to make good decisions, I would like to
think that those people have my best interest at heart,

.................................................SO, YA KNOW WHAT ELSE I'D LIKE?

I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday and Easter, I'd like
the US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter
as well as Sundays.

I'd like the Senate and the House of representatives to not have to worry
about getting home for the "Christmas Break".

I'm thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all
government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday &
Easter.

It shouldn't cost any overtime since those would be just any other days of
the week to a government that is trying to be "politically correct". This
would not affect any "non-governmental" business since everyone else still
has the freedom of religion, we could all still enjoy our holidays.

So I guess if they continue to bow to the wishes of a few, and if this
e-mail gets out to the right people, maybe they would bow to the wishes of
many.

Well now I've said my piece, I'll go relax and feel better now that I've gotten it
off my chest.

What's always amusing are self-proclaimed atheists bragging about the loot they got for Christmas. Image

2 groups of atheists

1: live and let live atheist
doesnt care what religion people are
doesnt mind judeo-christian belief's
welcomes freedom and prosperity

2: God hater atheist
fights the representation of god anywhere especially government
believes people shouldnt believe in god, that religion causes problems
has problem with authority figures, usually doesnt have a good relation ship with a parent
defines life thru misery usually a pessimist
psychiatric interpretation: god represents ultimate authority and can not be defeated so it is believed he simply does not exist.

no idea i did this study for pych 101
usually i have to ask 5 questions to determine which one they are
the questions are somewhat misleading but do give basis on truth
such as
1. at what age did u wish to leave home and go out on your own
standard answer = 16, red flags from deviations of more than 3 years

2. how many speeding tickets do u get
standard answer = 1, red flag from deviation by 2

3. how were your school grades
standard answer= b average, red flag from animosity to the question

4. did u ever fancy yourself a police officer or soldier
standard answer = not really, red flag yes but its not very important

the 5th isnt acutally a question u simply watch thier sanitary habits
messy room, yet anal at anything they are interested in(cars, boats, RC stuff, collecting of something, personal hygene) = red flag

4 red flags = problem with authority + atheist = god hater atheist

Lol, a very scientific study. Did you manage to come up with all of that yourself?
Welcome to the machine.

I agree.

If the government says murder is OK, then so be it.

If Nazi Germany says Jews must be killed, and you live in Nazi Germany, then so be it.

I like to be a law abiding citizen.
This one's not the same as the ones that aren't different:

God? Yes. At least for the guy that wrote this e-mail.

What can you say? He's telling us that we shouldn't have freedom of speech. It's one of the most poorly thought-through opinions I've ever seen. The government is God, and what they say goes, and if we want to be law abiding citizens, we should just sucumb and accept whatever they tell us.

Obviously writen by someone who agrees with eliminating Freedom of Religion, or promoting Separation of Church and State, which is Unconstitutional according to the first amendment which CLEARLY says:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

Talk about reaching.

Years ago the mail used to be delivered on Sundays. The reason it stopped? So the postal service could $ave moola. Sometime after that they even raised the possibility of stopping Saturday delivery {for the $ame reason}. But there was a hue and cry, so it didn't happen {but the rate increase did}.

Well, if you havent figured me out yet, i just reduce stuff down to simple logic with the info i am given and form an opinion based on that. some times when reduced to somthing simple the results are insane.
