what i find funny is that everyone here keeps seperating the word "muslim" from "terrorist" when they are in fact 1 and the same
when rantissi was killed (a hamas leader) 300,000 people showed up to his funeral
when yassin was killed 400,000 showed up to his funeral
when a suicide bomber was shot dead just before the border 50,000 people showed up to his funeral
did these people actually know the amount of people that came to their funeral....my guess is NO!
they went to their funerals cuz THEY SUPPORT TERRORISM
Jihad is one of the very fundamental principals of islam, why cant you all understand this...the muslim living next door to you could at any time become a murder for his god and still be well within the confines of his religion

Maybe I am naive, but I refuse to believe the afghan guy running the hot dog cart outside my office is a terrorist. Poor bastard works his butt off, has two nice kids and is pursuing the American dream. Actually, he's an example of why this country is the best place in the world. He can worship a porcelain giraffe for all I care, all I want is a decent hot dog.
Funny, you seem just as whacky as they do even if you aren't Muslim. You want to kill all of them and according to you they want to kill all of us. The only difference is in the Diety you worship.Originally posted by TheSovereign

If I, or someone else, criticizes some policy or act of the United States, why do you conclude that the criticism means that what has been done to us is forgiven? Does this criticism automatically mean that the U.S. should do nothing and, as dad suggests, just stand in one place wringing its hands and getting its ass kicked?
I dont conclude that you assume I do. My point was that your FOCUS is on what we have done wrong not what they have. I dont see you complaining about their actions at all unless someone brings it up and then you say a few words and move right back to criticizing and complaining about our Govt. Hey if that is what you are all about that is your right. It is also my right to get mad or angry about it. In my opinion if you compare the wrongs done my the Muslim Terrorist to the wrongs done by our Govt ....pffft it is not even a comparison THEY ARE WRONG!!!! Dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with pointing out our own flaws but you and a few others in my opinion go over the line and pay little attention to the wrongs done to us and the good things we do but prefer to harp on our own wrongs. Any patriotic American would have it the other way around or at least a more balanced approach. Just my 2 cents.

jesus never told me to kill anyone.
as for killing, a few hundred thousand MOABs would do the trick. then its a tank and army war.
Well, what about the Crusades? Or the Spanish Inquisition? Chrisitianity and "God" has been used to justify a lot of terrible stuff in the past. It's not the scripture at all, its just how you choose to present it. Remember slavery? Well, most of the southern landowners used religion to justify it, even though there are next to no writings in the Bible that do so. Hell, even Bush uses religion to justify part of his actions, using more and more religious terminology to describe our country's decisions.
Welcome to the machine.

Istanbul? You mean Constananople(sp) Well the Crusades had nothing to do with that, it was about taking the Holy lands back from the Muslims.Originally posted by TheSovereign

I read in the usa today that his dad said he (Berg) was a practicing jew. His Dad said his captors obviously found that out, and once they did, that clinched his horrid death.

There's reports out now that Berg might have been in cahoots with Al Qeada. Nothing concrete but he did have a chance enounter with Moussaoui http://edition.cnn.com/2004/US/Northeast/05/13/berg.encounter/

I've read that too. But what I read said he was arrested and thought that by Iraqi police, and the CIA investigated him and found no al qaeda relation. Plus him being a practicing jew, if true, makes that rather impossible. And then his demise. But could and would they kill their own, no doubt.
According to Berg, his son was taking a course a few years ago at a remote campus of the University of Oklahoma near an airport. He described how on one particular day, his son met "some terrorist people -- who no one knew were terrorists at the time."
At one point during the bus ride, Berg said, the man sitting next to his son asked if he could use Nick's laptop computer.
"It turned out this guy was a terrorist and that he, you know, used my son's e-mail, amongst many other people's e-mail who he did the same thing to," Berg said.
