Hell no. Once they do that, it'll create a precedent and nobody's phone will be safe. I'm glad they took a stand.

Reminiscent of the issues between Blackberry and the Saudis (I think) who wanted access to to the BB SMS service.
It's one thing to ask for tech help in a case, but as Cook points out - encrypted is encrypted - and the obvious point of this case is to force apple to create a backdoor which can be used across the board. If the 3 letter agencies don't have the horsepower to get into one phone, esp. given they have tons of other stuff in this case, maybe they need better experts.

The funny thing is that Apple has cooperated with the FBI up to this point including providing the iCloud and text messages. I'm glad they've put their foot down on creating a backdoor. Not only does it compromise everyone else's security, it would take a lot of labor to do so. Let's face it, the encryption on an iPhone must be very good considering nobody has broken it yet.
