Android Find My Phone

Don't think I ever posted this. As long as your Android phone is syncing to Google (default) and location services are turned on (default and required for GPS) then you can find your phone using the Android Device Manager. You can even set off the ringer or lock or erase it.

Be aware this is a privacy issue if someone else has access to your phone's Google account.

Just used it to keep tabs on my wife during a long drive she just made to Miami. Instead of calling her and distracting her, I just logged into her Google account Android Device Manager and kept refreshing the map page.

If you want to see something really creepy, if location history is on, you can pick any date/time and see the entire phone's location history mapped out :)

There's also an App called GPS Tracking that shows you the location of anyone else with that App, signed in.

I've always known this existed, but never checked it out. Surprisingly accurate.
