When I bought my wife and I a pair of Moto-X phones from Verizon last year, I was in a hurry, and just bought her a stock white one and myself a stock black one. I regret buying the black one. I LOVE the phone but the black model is plain as plain can be. The all white one I got for my wife is a better looking phone.
What I REALLY wanted was to custom order one. Motorola lets you completely customize everything online BUT you have to wait 2 weeks for delivery.
So this time I ordered the phone I really wanted: White case, Black buttons (the stock phones have matching color buttons and they are hard to spot), and a real Bamboo back cover (there are four wood back covers, but they are all Faux except the Bamboo cover).
You also get your name etched on the back.
I get people asking me all the time now if it's an iPhone. LOL! An iPhone looks puny by comparison.
BTW: That's a custom launcher I'm using (the launcher is the desktop) not the stock Android launcher. I like the LauncherPro launcher. I used it on my old HTC Evo as well. It makes the bottom buttons slideable left and right to give you more buttons on the bottom, and it also gives you the favorite contact widget that you see on the screen that I really like.
