I think they also fixed some battery drain issues related to 4G LTE. Which carrier are you on? AT&T pushed their update about a month ago and I haven't had any issues. I recommend going into your app management and disabling all or most of the Samsung apps that you don't use.

That's exactly why. I think a better strategy would be to make a watch that wasn't bulky and ugly. For $200, I'm getting a good Seiko titanium.

That watch ONLY works with 2 devices and it's $300:

Now why anyone would want that is beyond me.
My S4 got upgraded last night too. Seems like some apps are gone or moved and there are 2 added ones that I have to see what they're good for.

The CEO of samsungs daughter goes to the private school I live at, when I asked her why my s4 mini got 4.3 the other day she said it was part of a multi network rollout to basically sell that watch crap

....but the watch doesn't work with the S4, at least not yet.
At the time I am writing this review the Galaxy Gear is designed to work with two devices; the Galaxy Note 3 (phone), and the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition (tablet). Though there is word that Samsung is about to roll out the update to the unbranded Galaxy S4's to give them compatibility.
Well, so maybe that's now outdated and it'll work? Still, you have to have the phone with you anyway so why spend another $300 so it can interface with the phone that's in your pocket and still doesn't do as much as the phone does?

So I mention the update and watch to a guy at work who has an S-note 2 and he's all happy now 'cause he wants one of those watches bad. He said he was about to get a different phone just to get the watch (probably the S-note 3 'cause he likes those huge screens). Too funny! Maybe I'll see one in person soon.
He's got AT&T and hasn't seen that update yet but I'm sure he will soon.

it was cool on Knight Rider, but i'll pass on spending $300 for it. if it ever completely replaces my phone, along with 3D HUD interface, video conferencing, etc, then i'm in.

For those of you too young to remember and it began in 1931:

If it was $100 and a stand alone device, maybe but not as it is for me.
Apple's coming out with one too:
