LauncherPro for Android - Desktop Replacement

Ever since the last OS upgrade my HTC Evo 4G has been crashing regularly when pressing the Home button. It seems this is due to a bug in the HTC Launcher, which is essentially the Android desktop and home screen. Not just limited to my phone either - there's a lot of HTC phone owners complaining about this since Sept of last year.
One of the simplest workarounds is to replace the HTC Launcher with a new launcher (this does NOT require rooting the phone) and one of the best is LauncherPro:

Even if you're not having issues with your launcher, I'd recommend trying LauncherPro. It works much better than the default launcher on most phones, with many more features. One of the best features is that it supports landscape mode. That's been a big annoyance on my Evo. I use the kickstand a lot and it's annoying to exit back to the homepage and be forced into portrait mode.
Another great feature is that the primary buttons at the bottom of the screen can now be scrolled through 3 sets of buttons.
There's a free version on LauncherPro, which I recommend you try first. For $3.50, however, it's worth licensing it to get all the features activated.
The only downside is you'll have to create a new desktop layout, but it's worth it.
Nice video here demonstrates all the features:
