I can't find the Data Recovery company thread

I remember FP posted a data recovery company that he referred us to. I have a friend who borked up a thumb drive and bent it to a 45 degree angle.
Can anyone find the link or know of a good company?

I've used DTI Data Recovery:

I don't think they do thumb drives - only hard drives.
If he bent the USB connector then I'd take it to a mom & pop computer or electronics place. You want someone with good eyes and a small soldering iron to either reconnect the USB connector if the pins broke off the circuit board or, have them solder a USB cable to it if the connector is not salvageable.

Now if he bent and broke the circuit board inside the USB stick then it's a lost cause.

Hopefully the board hasn't been broken either, or it may be a bigger deal. Worst case, you could de-solder the chip from that drive, buy another identical drive & remove it's chip & do a swap. Oh and it's not for the amateur.
