I use Ipod classic 80G, and Itunes 8.0.2.20

i would like to know if anyone has figured a way to add a song that is a duet and have this song show up in both. for example, say you add a song sung by Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn i would like that song to show up under both artist (when sorted by artist) not a seprate album.

Hows it going stranger. You can do this, just let itunes import it and then copy it to your desktop (aac file) from library list then reimport it from desktop and manually change the artist.

I think i have dones this i have tried using this with / and comma and the word "and" and if you search by artist, there is

Conway Twitty
Conway Twitty/Loretta Lynn
Loretta Lynn

And the duets are not in the other two

here is what i am after when you play artist, i want the duets to be played in either artist

upload your image to a hosting site { some free ones are http://www.tinypic.com or http://www.imageshack.com }, then copy 'n' paste the IMG coding into your reply post here.

You have to manually change the artist by right clicking the second copy once imported again, and info (in itunes). Then it will let you edit it to whatever you want to call it, I would only change the artist and then you can sort this way in itunes. Make sense? If not just call me you have my cell.

Yes, thats the only way I know of doing what your asking. A lot of times itunes does this on its own if a song falls into two or more different generes
