Considering I have three PCs, a laser printer, and NAS in my office, I explicitly asked the electrician to assign 2 breakers to my office alone during construction. One for the office and one for the server closet in the office.

JayzTwoCents went on a rant about this. His problem is that these new cards just announced by NVidia at CES, all use the same chip as the original 3080. So instead of trying to crank out more 3080s which are Unobtainium right now, NVidia is releasing even pricier cards with the same chip. Basically a nice FU to gamers.

EVGA is your best bet. Their MSRP is not ridiculously over inflated like other manufacturers. Stil higher than it should be, but not nuts. $1200 for the base model 3080 Ti. Long waiting list on their store though. Keep an eye out for EVGAs on NewEgg's shuffle because NewEgg is required to sell them at MSRP. Also check the Falcobot discord 3080 Ti channel. Watch for restocks early in the morning: https://discord.com/channels/7675662237 ... 8663194645
However, I just don't see a 3080Ti worth it for the bang for the buck when the basde model EVGA 3080 is $800 now.
I still feel very lucky to have gotten an EVGA superclocked 3080 for $800 MSRP a year ago before the crunch got really bad.
