what is a good pci express grafix card for about 200 pounds and will go in sli when i buy another the motherboard it has to go in is a Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe

will it fit in the board tight sli spaces

can get an x800 now a days for that I would guess.

You should be able to get an X1800 XL in that price range. I would look at both the 7800 GT and X1800 XL.

Hopefully going to the manufacturers website will give you size specifications.

These prices are in US dollars. I believe it's currently $1.74 USD to one pound.

what is the difference between card from ati and card from companys like club 3d etc

ATI and Sapphire (they're identical - Sapphire makes ATI's cards) are usually built to better standards (except for some of the high-end brand names like Asus, etc).

I'd rather have a Sappire or ATI than a run-of-the-mill version from some other company.

I completely agree with NubyCanuby there....The 7800GT is the ultimate one especially if you are considering the XFX card rather than the NVIDIA, since the XFX version is cheaper and better than NVIDIA one...if you are getting confused on this I suggest you do some reading on iNods.com for all the possible reviews before you invest your 200 pounds!

If your case is cramped for space you will be out of luck on the 7800gt. I own one and it is huge. I have an Asus A8N sli deluxe mobo and it spans almost the full width of the mobo. As for "card gap", it is no thicker than your average card, a little under an inch thick.
