Hey, I'm up to 9700 but thats as high as I can get right now. I've got Powerstrip but can only get it up a little bit, 285/280 with the 2400 XP overclocked a bit.

Do you have more cooling? I've got ram sinks and stock cooler.

Tell me how you did it.

Mines all at stock that was with no background apps running on a fresh install... DX8.1 and Cat 3.0 drivers. retail 64 meg card here... i'm gonna try to get 360 more points to break 11k figure a tad bit of overclocking and some driver tweaking should do it... or just squeeze another 100mhz out of this 2100 :D

After much work on mb bios/cpu settings, I made it to 10700 at 290/290 with my retail 8500 stock and 2400XP at 12 x 166.

Ended up reinstalling the OS though and redoing everything and back to stock on the cpu gives me 9400 at default settings on the 8500.

So I can do a range of 9400 to 10700 with bios and gpu tweaking.
