I don't know if the price is right but it does not surprise me if it is that high. Some RETAILERS still sell the cards at its original SRP even if the product has been on the store shelves for nearly a year.
You can still see Voodoo5 5500 being sold at $US 299 at Pricewatch, for example. If you haven't heard, 3dfx will be leaving the graphics business in February. They sold their technology to NVIDIA. Before the announcement, V5 prices were dropping because stores were trying to get rid of their inventory. Now there is a shortage so retailers play smart and keep the prices from dropping even further. Hell, it actually went up a few bucks this past week.
