if someone told you to go out and buy any video card right now with money being no object, which card would you purchase?

or the ULTRA. I've heard of Quadro's with 128mb on them :) those would be a little pricey, but I'm sure they'de be a NICE card for anything you could imagine

Ditto - at least until ASUS comes out with a Geforce 2 Ultra.

so if i were to go out in a couple weeks for a card then i guess the GeForce 2 Ultra is the choice.
should i dare ask how much i would be looking at for one?

You said money was no object... :) $400+ range

Geforce 2 GTS (non ultra) is next best thing and a lot more reasonably priced. Some of the cheaper ones are closer to $200.

You can get a GeForce 2 Pro (64 MB RAM) equipped with a Blue Orb cooler and RAM heatsinks for $339.95 plus shipping. I've read that you can overclock these things to near GeForce Ultra speeds.
