Lot depends on your budget. If you want the biggest and fastest it is either a GeFore 3 TI500 or a Radeon 8500. If you wanna save a few $$$ go for a GeForce 3 TI200 or a Radeon 7500. I myself plan on getting a TI200 real soon. I still prefer NVidia over ATI if for no other reason than their driver support

top performance gaming card: GeForce 3 Ti500 or Radeon 8500
value (bang for bucks) gaming cards: GeForce 3 Ti200, Radeon 8500, Radeon 7500

Here is the deal for a $99 (After rebate) Ti200. Hopefully there will be some around tomorrow.

thanks a lot,
i guess the geforce 3 is the better option, drivers can be very handy if you want it to work nicely.

but im wondering, wont i overkill a bit with a geforce3 ti500 ?
i mean i have just a 800 athlon, and i did not overclocked it at all.
maybe it would be better to get a bit faster cpu when i get it.

its really going fast lately, havent had the time at all to look arround,
i feel like i lost all knowledge. :o
thanks again, when i have a bit more time i will start "updating" myself with some knowledge.

I couldn't rationalize the expense of a GF3 Ti-500. The GF3 Ti-200 is very reasonably priced (you can find the Visiontek for under $200) and it's a LOT of bang for the buck. That's what I bought and I'm very happy.

thanks again,

i looked at the prices of the cards and indeed the GF3-Ti200 is more reasonable priced.
though i also have to say that the Radeon looks very promissing.

now i only have to save up for it,
i dont have a moneytree in the garden :)

Use the Coolbits registry hack and you can overclock that puppy to almost GF3 Ti500 speeds :)
