Hmm is this true? Is NVIDIA focusing on tha nForce kr4pp. Personally I dont give a sh!t about that, as I have a brand new Epox 8k7a+ to use. But I was hoping to get the Gf3 Ultra for my b/day this fall. Oh well, If nVidia doesnt come out with a new card, I'll just get the Radeon 200.

There has not been any definite rumors about a GeForce 3 Ultra coming out during fall.

Aw Crikey! Why does Nvidia have to go and screw their 6 month product cycle right when I was counting on it? Oh wellz, I'll have to see what ATI has in store.

News flash!

6 months cycle is over! Story at 11![/align]

Waiting to see what ATi and ST/Imagination has to offer in the fall would be a wise move. :)

pidge when was the last time the 6 months cycle actually held? It was with the release of the GeForce 2 GTS in May of last year. That was the last time. The Geforce 3 did not come out last fall and nVidia put out the GeForce 2 Ultra instead.

The fact is Nvidia has many things on its plate now to deal with. Things like the nForce Chipset, Xbox, mobile and highend graphical markets. And the GF3 is more than fast enough for current games.

nVIDIA is a pretty small company compared to others, like ATI, it was said that their staff was too divided to focus on the 6mo cycle with all the new products they're working on, and btw, I cant wait to see what nForce brings to the table :)

The GeForce 3 Ultra is supposed to be announced in 6 weeks. Probably another month or two after that before it will actually be available to the masses.

I got that off nvnews and Matt of 3dgpu commented on the accuracy of it off the record.
