If you hate the new control panel, then try this registry tweak to bring back the good 'ol control panel!
Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies]
"ContextUIPolicy"=dword:00000002
Change the value to 1 (worked for me for the 169.21 drivers)
