If you are going with a GF4, a ti4200 is the best bang for the buck and, if you want to, most can be overclocked to 4400 speeds at least.
You can get this:

at newegg for $132.99
I'd do that unless you want to get a Radeon.

I want something bigger than that though, like I want something that will cost around 200. I prefer Nvidia cards because I've had problems in the past with ATI. I was thinking maybe the 4800 or the 4600 ti cards. I want something that will be pretty fast playing some games at 1024 or 1280 on a 19" monitor.
I run my ti4200 at 1024 on a 21" Trinitron and I have no complaints about speed in any game I play.
Microsoft Train Simulator (which is pretty boring but one of my sons is a train freak) is pretty tough on video cards. My ti4200 will handle that with all graphics options turned to high, 4X AA, 32 colors etc and will produce good framerates even when the game is depicting multiple trains and moving automobiles in a heavy snowstorm.
ATI is the only other game in town. If you want to spend 200, you could get a Radeon 9700...
