Maybe someone here can recommend one in particular. Look for drivers here: http://www.voodoofiles.com

The latest semi-official driver (released after 3Dfx went out of business, but they were written by 3Dfx programmers) are available at http://x3dfx.da.ru/

Win2k driver: Use 1.04.00

Here are tweak guides: http://www.3dspotlight.com/tweaks/voodoo5/index.shtml

FAQ: http://216.194.77.210/v5faq.php

I also saved a couple of tweak pages and a faq from voodoosource.net before it shut down a few months ago. If you want it let me know.

tweak files: http://216.194.77.210/files.shtml

http://pub43.ezboard.com/bx3dfx x3dfx discussion board is a good place to find info.

Yes. Use the 1.04 drivers. They were the last set released before 3Dfx went out of business. Any modified drivers that I've used are terrible. The Microsoft drivers which are downloadable through Windows Update are terrible as well.

I've had really good luck with the amegamerlin drivers and Ice drivers, both work quite well.

Remember to run games with the 3dx mini gl driver, it's a great boost :) ...

the 1.04 drivers also work well, a word of warning, make sure you get every last trace of any previous drivers when switching between any of the drivers, it can cause real frustration...
good luck, (i'm running the voodoo 5 pci in a friends comp and mine's waitin as my secondary monitor card untill I can get a better PSU :) )

Actually Mandrake, you have made me see the error of my ways. My V5 ships today, my GF3 goes on the shelf. I'll let the poster know what the best driver is when I decide.

I am using version 4.12.01.0666, 11/21/2000 from voodoofiles.com. So far work great with everything, although Max Payne is the newest game I've tried with them.
