How to disable Google AI Search search results

The enshitification of Google search continues, with the addition of a AI results at the top of the page. You can get the normal search results by selecting 'Web' under the 'More' menu at the top of the page, but that's annoying.
Here's a way to force Google to give you the 'Web' results by default, at least until they break it.
This is how you do it in chrome by creating a custom search engine entry (also works for most Chromium based browsers): https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2024/05 ... -for-good/
It's trickier in Firefox because Firefox doesn't allow you to create your own custom search engine entry. The easy way is to use this addon which gives you a new search engine option called udm14: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/udm14/
