Been using DD-WRT on my own and client's Linksys routers for a long time as it's super stable and reliable. You almost never have to reboot a router running it.
I've also heard a lot of good things about Tomato so I gave it a try and installed it on a couple of new WRT54GL routers I purchased for clients. I really like it. Very clean control panel that's simpler to navigate than DD-WRT, and it seems to reboot a lot faster than DD-WRT.
Also seems less finicky to flash the firmware to Tomato.
