wireless printers ?

how good are they as far as sending a signal . or should i say range away from a computer that sending the signal to it . is there things to look at when buying one over another for signal ?

I have a Brother HL-2170W and all in all, I'm not very impressed with it's wireless capabilities.. It's VERY difficult to configure and get it all working correctly. I eventually had so many issues with it and wireless that I just ran a Cat5 cable to it..

Same experience here. I'm sure it would work fine for some people, but a printer that's constantly disconnecting is a major annoyance.

thanks i just keep my printer and buy ink for 2 units !
this will also keep the wife out of my area more !(and thats a good thing )

Wifi sucks on printers. Better to hard wire it to a router and then access it wirelessly through the network.
