a friend - client calls and asks me if i think there service could be a bit slow or like non at all becouse they have to many things on at once.
lets see they are using a wireless router .
and this is for home use .(on comcast cable - not a bad idea here )
what they have running off the router .
4 laptops by his kids
3 home desktops
nexflix wirelessly for there 2 out of 6 TV in the house.
plus hard wire (rj45 cable ) to 2 more desktops
plus a wireless print server .
then the kids each have there own Ipods and 2 have kindles.
i said you can recheck what im telling you with comcast but i think your overloading you comcast band with ! :) :) :) :) :)
im suprized he was have any kind of real signal to any device.

Wow thats a lot! But yeah I know the feeling. I'm sharing my wireless with three close neigbors my ps3 and lappie. My main comp is hardwired. If all the neigbors jump on youtube at the same time we all bog down badly! Normally that don't happen but has on the weekends. Ive told em its free so don't be a bandwidth pig! LOL!

Been trying to tell that to my bosses at work. All of our stores have about 6-10 computers sharing the same connection & whether they like it or not, many of those are playing streaming music & videos. Then they wonder why things go to a crawl.
