Windows XP SP3 Causing Router Crashes

Of course I've never heard of this router, but...

ugg we really have to stop calling these resgates "routers". i still see people that point to their dsl bridge and say "modem"
but yeah its odd how can a change to your pc affect your residential gateway?
i mean it would have to change the way the tcp/ip stack communicates. and since its standard i would assume the appliance company screwed something up to begin with

I bet it's something to do with UPnP. XP SP3 does change the TCP/IP stack engine to one modeled after Vista's.
