I think anything but 2.4 is good. I have heard a lot of people say 2.4 phones are evil for wireless setups.

Any phone purchased in the last 3 years should have no problems with 802.11 b/g
Older phones can be problematic.

Yah, about a year ago I was using a fairly new 2.4ghz phone and it never interfered with my wireless..

Be careful, the cheap 2.4ghz models can also cause interference. I had a client who had a wireless network, and their neighbor had a new, cheap 2.4ghz phone set of two that caused all kinds of trouble for their network. Was nice that they had good neighbors who cared

ditto on the cheap 2.4 phones. i used to just get a new cheap 2.4 phone when the battery went bad, but when i set up my wireless in here, it would interfere. now, the 5.8 phones are reasonably priced so i went to those. the jury is still out on my wireless headphones; but if i tune them just right and stand in the right place, i can inadvertently pick up someone talking on their cordless phone. i think my wireless cams also run in the 2.4 range and they are really picky about placement, but i keep them away from the WAP. they would interfere with the 2.4 phone i had.
