FOLLOWUP:

Fair warning. I found this extension slows down the loading of pages noticeably. It also causes pages to scroll slower - (especially on older systems 1.2 GHz or less).

I was noticing slow page loading even on my high-end system and I thought it was related to the firewall, but then I noticed it even worse on my wife's P3-800 laptop, and the lappy was also scrolling this BBS very slowly. Uninstalled the the extension and all is okay.

Looks like this extension is a CPU hog.

Okay I'm using it again on my main workstation. It's not really a noticeable performance hit on that system (it was the firewall's web filtering I was trying out that was causing the slow down).

The Google Safe browsing extension WAS causing slow browsing on my older 800 Mhz laptop though so I had to remove it from that PC.

BTW: Here's a page to test that the extension is working. This page will be detected as a suspicious phishing site:
