What is wrong with my router ?

I have a Linksys WRT54G router. I accidently unplugged the power cord to it. I plugged it back in and now all of the lights on the front of it flash. I can surf the net just fine, but I can't get into the router setup. I did the usual 192.168.1.1 and I don't get the password prompt, it just goes to the "This page can not be displayed".

I have reset it with the reset button on the rear, I have unplugged the power , reset my cable modem. Just can't figure it out. Any ideas ?

Sounds like its gonna take a dump pretty soon, just my oppinion though. I have the same router and have never had this problem. I have had to unplug it numerous times but never flashing lights other than the self test ( flashing power led)

That's weird man.. Try unplugging it and holding the reset button for 20 seconds if you haven't already.. GL!

On the computer that you are surfin the web on bring up the command prompt and type in "ipconfig /all" where it says Default Gateway, use that IP address and see if you get the router pages.

If a hardware reset doesn't work, just replace it.

If it won't work with the gateway IP address then the internal pages are messed up. You can try to flash the firmware using Linksys' utility that doesn't require the internal pages and see if that fixes it.
