Is there a router that will allow me to plug a PCMCIA wireless internet (VCAST in this case) card into it and then plug the computer into the router?
Any model #'s would be great.

You MIGHT be able to use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) but it may not allow you. If the VCast card creates a network connection in your Network Connections folder then see if you can right click on it, click the advanced tab, and enable ICS.

I thought about that, but I was looking for a hardware solution so that a computer could just be plugged in and no configuration would need to be done. I thought I saw a router with a PCMCIA slot at one time, but I can't remember where (or if it was what I needed)

Those were only disigned to add wifi b/g PCcards
and if it needs user/pass names then ICS would be your only route, if its serial based logons then it might have a slight possiblity.

Some crappy old computer running some open source router software could easily do it. I don't know if any do though right out of the box.
