nope, those looks like they are spoofed. Something having to do with the cacheing of the test and reloading it several times, the upload speed kinda gives it away :p
Gone for good. But never say never

GA Tech baby! It's really nice here. And AT, my upload is capped at 60k/sec and I can sustain a constant 60k/sec. These were Java tests done at http://atl.speakeasy.net so caching can't happen.

yeay! you can down load really fast but have the up of a comon cable person.. why the hell is upload so rare? its gotta be somewhere for all this downloading to occur... i want to have a 100 up/100 down... that would be GREAT!

I think it's spoofed.. highest i've ever seen is on my school's computers.

15 mbit download, 12 mbit upload.

dual T-3's on a campus of barely 3000 students.

Edit:

at my house, the download is 5mbit, 512 kbit upload.

In all actuality, the speeds I posted at first are a rarity. I posted more as a humorous post than a serious post. It was later at night and it's summer here at Tech so not as many people on campus. Plus the servers are in Atlanta (http://atl.speakeasy.net). I do usually average about 1 to 1.5 MB/sec when downloading and whatnot. It's not uncommon though for a 2 to 6 MB/sec download rate to occur. It all depends on the site.

But as BillyGoat posted, I am limited by my upload, I used to not be limited but Tech put a cap so they didn't have to monitor bandwidth usage.

And Walleye, when the backbone for the Internet of the southeastern part of the US is hosted at your university, you do get some good speeds. I've got 15Mbps at 7PM during a normal semester here.

I would personally not spoof a speed test. That's just stupid for a person to do.
