Ok guys.. I think what I'm wanting to do is called a gateway. I want to share the Internet via Cable with my other computers. Can I just install another nic in the computer that has the Cable connected (temporarily until I get my smoothwall router going) and then run a cable from the 2nd NIC to my switch and then run the rest like normal? Anything I should know about doing this?
TIA!

Yes you can do that. You enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on the connection you want to share.
A $40 router is a simpler solution though.

Thanks FP! I'm kinda tight on money just having moved and all and I've got the stuff laying around for the other two.

Yah, if I was only doing this for two computers I would.

I'm going to be running 4 other computers via a switch.

Thanks though!!
