running windows xp pro !
and take like 5-10 mins to load !
and then it said was trying to load new hardware !
and just sit there for like what seem like 15 mins before you could open anything
mouse would move around !
and when you try to go on line 12-15 empty browser pages would open ! in windows explorer !
also to make matters worth go to dos prompt and check for internet ip address it say no address -but get a code 10107 message .
im going to reformat but any clue as to whats going on guys !
also we checked with the ip service and they can read the nic card ,and cable modem !
i did restart the machine a couple of times !
and reset the modem !
ps also getting this - 0.0.0.0 IP address
not sure if this is were i need to post this !

the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.

Well before formating, have you tried using System Restore to reset the system back to an earlier date? Doesn't always help, but often does.
