Zonet Router
Zonet Router
Hello I got the wrong manuel for my Zonet ZSR0104B Router. I can't log onto the Router meny with my browser. I type in 192.168.1.1 and the a box pop's up and the I type "admin" in the username field and "1234" for the password just like the manuel says, but it doesn't work.
Does any one have the same Router? What is the defult password and username?
Thanks Mathias Garbus

If no one can help, I'd email zonet and ask.

Was this a new router or used? If used the password may have been changed.
There's usually a reset button somewhere that puts it back to factory defaults.
Most routers use "admin" and "1234"
Some other possibilities I've seen:
No user name or password (leave them both blank).
No username (leave blank) and just a the password "1234"
No username and the password is "admin".
Username "admin" and no password.
You can try emailing Zonet for the proper password: sales@zonetusa.com
Hope this helps...

Just in case it is a used router or maybe been changed before you got it.

Now that is a wierd way to reset a router.1) Turn off router
2) Take a cat5 cable (just 1) and connct 1 end to the wan port and the
other end to Lan port 2.
3) Turn on router for 60 seconds.
4) Turn off router and unplug the cable.
5) It is now reset.
here is the link to the manual in pdf but is not working !

What will work?
I just purchased a used router like this on ebay. There is no manual or cd with it, so all I have is the router, cables, and ac adapter.
I need the info in the manual to know how to set it up, or at least the answers to what it will ask me for when I try to set it up. Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
Bill
