I've always hated trying to configure a Belkin. I hope they don't screw up the Linksys.

Belkin routers suck. Linksys routers have started to suck lately and this will probably make them worse.

Crazy Sauce.. Is Cisco just trying to get out of the home consumer biz or what? I may be switching to SonicWall for home next time I have to buy a new router..

This may have been the best thing Belkin has done. Assuming they drop their own line immediately and get some people over from Linksys. Though in the future, going to be quite wary of buying anything "Linksys" anymore.

I've been running Netgear for years, they've served be quite decently. My second choice though has been Linksys, probably just make it D-link now. I've heard good things about Trendnet, can anyone verify?

Also on the hate Belkin products club. The only thing they sell that is decent is cables, beyond that they suck. Their wireless adapters/routers have always been buggy pieces of shit. When someone asks me what is wrong with their router, the first question I ask is if they bought a Belkin, if they say yes, I'll say, "there you go".

Belkin also makes rock solid interface cards. I've seen all kinds of issues on older PCs and modern USB hard drives. I carry Belkin PCI USB cards as a quick fix.

Meh, their cards can be hit or miss too. Depends on which chips they go with, the Realtek ones work quite well.
