Adobe adds silent auto updates to Flash Player

Post by FlyingPenguin »

About friggin' time...

Just installed it, and Flash Player does also give you the option of enabling or disabling auto-updates. After you install it, it gives you a settings dialog for updates and there's also one in the Flash player controls in the Windows Control Panel "Advanced" tab.

While I do want it enabled on desktops, I generally don't allow auto updates on my laptops. I do those manually when I know I have good Wifi available.
